On the Road Again…With New Hand Dyed

This month has been busy in preparation for the holidays. The Ginger’s Hand Dyed trunk show at Fluph in Dundee was great fun. Then Karie Westermann came to GTS for her first ever trunk show. She even brought home made sweets! It was a decided success, and thanks to everyone who came round!

Saturday I’m jaunting over to Queen of Purls in Glasgow for another Ginger’s Hand Dyed trunk show. I am releasing a new hand dyed base at the event. It is a new worsted weight yarn that will be available in 3 shades as of Saturday. Stay tuned for its fibre content deets! Clare Devine will be there with her patterns, and it will also be a chance to support The Great British Farm Project. I’ve also heard rumours of mulled wine.  It is sure to be a good day, so pop on by Queen of Purls in the Saltmarket on Saturday if you can.

And if that isn’t enough excitement, this photo was featured on Ravelry’s front page. You may recall this is my version of Early Grey by Clare Devine. Golly gee willikers!

The knitted calendar has made a big comeback this year! Putting up a wee decoration each day is definitely a highlight. Roll on December!
