1st Installment From The Neighbo(u)rhood Sheep Society

Some of you lovely readers may already be in the know. But for those of you who are not, the first installment from The Neighbo(u)rhood Sheep Society has been received with delightful feedback. Thanks to everyone who jumped on this sheepy bandwagon and supporting this fun project! The first parcel contained a couple skeins of delicious and sheepy Norfolk Horn. Along with Clare’s clever pattern making skills, we wanted to convey the winter sky in knitting. These are the 2 shades I created specifically for this project. Mmmmmmmm, don’t you just want to have a squish?

Clare then developed Mellit, a beautiful pair of fingerless mitts with a fold over cuff. I personally prefer to have access to my fingers when out and about. Mellit’s generous fold over cuffs can easily be unfolded to cover your fingers to help keep you toasty on those super chilly walks. I also love how they are fraternal twin mitts; not quite matching. And if that wasn’t enough, the lovely Devine created a cosy headband (Mytre), as well as a wee change purse (Pochette) which also functions as your swatch. How clever is that?!
