The Party’s Over: Indie Burgh Yarn Crawl 2016

The end of June is approaching, Summer Solstice has occurred, and Indie Burgh Yarn Crawl 2016 has come and gone. After all the excitement, I am finally feeling recovered. Whew! The energy on the day of the yarn crawl was amazing; so much enthusiasm in the air. Droves of knitters, crocheters, spinners and weavers came out on the day and the sense of community was fantastic!

The special yarn crawl yarn ‘Heart of the City’ sold out early. The designs to go with this yarn are stunning, and can obviously be done in alternate yarns if you were not able to attend and grab a skein yourself.

The yarn crawl finished up at the Safari Lounge with much merriment, crafting and wine. Thank you again to all those who participated in this year’s Indie Burgh Yarn Crawl, as well as all my wonderful helpers, pop-up market participants and kind raffle donations. You guys all rock my hand knit socks!
